In addition to tuition, there are two obligations that Saint Mary Academy families assume fundraising and volunteer service. These are designed to insure that the school has the financial and human resources necessary to provide the best possible program for our students.
Fundraising All families are required to participate in fundraising at a level which would net the school $300 per year, per family. In lieu of fundraising, families may make a donation to the school of $300. Another option is to meet part of this obligation through fundraising and make a donation for the remainder. Profits from the following fundraisers are part of this program: Fall Fundraiser (Parts I and II), Raffle Calendar, Butter Braids.
Volunteer Service All families are expected to perform 10 hours per year of volunteer service for the school. These volunteer hours are to be done by an adult. Volunteer opportunities are many and varied. Volunteer information is sent out at the beginning of each school year.
