Weather Closings/Cancellations
St. Mary's complies with decisions of the Dover School Department with regard to weather related cancellations. If Dover is listed as a two-hour delay, St. Mary has a two-hour delay. If Dover schools are cancelled or dismissed early, SMA also follows suit.

Announcements can be heard on the following radio stations:

WTSN 1270 AM WERZ 107.1 FM

WOKQ 97.5 FM WHEB 100.3 FM

Cancellations will also be on Channel 9 WMUR-TV

Weather delay
On days when there is a two-hour weather delay, the school day will begin two hours after the usual time. Grade 7 and 8 will begin at 9:25 and Grades K (full day) 6 will begin at 10:15

There is no half-day kindergarten or Pre-K on weather delay days, however, before school care is available beginning at 8 a.m. and extended care is available for all kindergarten and Pre-K children beginning at 8 a.m.

Extended Care Programs are not available when school is cancelled.

Early dismissal
In the event of an early dismissal, there will be no after-school program. All children must be picked up at the early dismissal time.
