Our Kindergarten program runs from September through the first week in June, 5 days a week. Both our half-day and full-day sessions are run by certified teachers, and each classroom has a teacher's aide. The primary goal for Kindergarten is to ensure that each child is prepared for the challenges of first grade. To that end, Saint Mary Academy strives to provide an appealing environment, centered around a well-organized, balanced, and complete readiness program. A variety of learning situations and experiences are provided so that each child will experience early success.
Dress Code: All students wear school uniforms purchased through the uniform company designated by the school. Additionally, sneakers are required for phys. ed. classes in the gym.
The school day begins at 8:15 a.m., with the half-day students dismissed at 11:00 a.m. and the full-day students dismissed at 2:30 p.m.. Additionally, we offer Extended Care. Students can be brought in beginning at 7:00 a.m. and can stay as late as 5:30 p.m.
